The form below allows you to anonymously report a hate incident or hate crime. Your voice matters, and sharing your experience can help build a safer and more inclusive community. All responses are confidential, and you may share as much or as little detail as you feel comfortable with.
In 2021, the Stop the Hate Campaign was created in response to the rise in hate across California, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic. The program exists to combat hate incidents and hate crimes across the state. Its mission is to support victims, promote healing, and foster community resilience.
Purpose: Combat hate incidents and support impacted communities across California.
Led by: California Department of Social Services (CDSS) in partnership with CAPIAA. The Sierra Health Foundation is our regional lead. My Sister’s House is 1 of 35 organizations to partner in this campaign.
Focus Areas: Victim support and legal aid, Mental health and healing services, Community education and outreach.
Who It Serves: Asian, Black, Indigenous, Latinx, LGBTQ+, religious minorities, and other marginalized groups.
Impact: Over 2 million reached; 14,000+ individuals served with direct support.
