Sister's House is the first and only non-profit organization
to specifically identify and address the unique needs of women
and children impacted by domestic violence in the Central Valley's
highly diverse Asian and Pacific Islander community.
My Sister’s House offers:

A 6-bed Safe Haven shelter for women
and children;

Culturally and linguistically appropriate
domestic violence intervention services;

Women at Work Program for domestic violence
survivors of all backgrounds;

New Beginnings women's learning and
support group;

Community outreach and education; and

24-hour multilingual crisis line

Your Privacy While Using the Internet
Important
information about maintaining privacy and safety while using
the internet.
Your abuser can monitor your computer use, and it is difficult to hide
your internet activities. If you are in danger, please use a safer computer,
call our 24-hour help line (916) 428-3271, or call the National Domestic
Violence Hotline at (800) 799-SAFE.
To ensure that your online activities are not discovered by your abuser,
you must use a computer that your abuser cannot access, such as a computer
at a public library, internet cafe, or at a trusted friend's home. |
