Vision Statement
My Sister's House seeks to eliminate domestic violence in the Asian and Pacific Islander community through family education, and by increasing the self-determination of Asian and Pacific Islander women.
Mission Statement
The mission of My Sister's House is to serve the needs of Asian and Pacific Islander women and children impacted by domestic violence by providing a culturally appropriate and responsive safe haven and community services.

History of My Sister's House
Leadership
What We've Accomplished
Our 6-bed Safe Haven shelter opened in 2003. In seven years, we have:
- Provided more than 12,262 bed nights of shelter to Asian & Pacific Islander women and children;
- Responded to over 2600 calls to our 24-hour multilingual Help Line;
- Served more than 500 domestic violence survivors of all ethnicities in our award-winning Women to Work program; and
- Made more than 200 presentations on domestic violence and human trafficking to local school, businesses, organizations, and places of worship and participated in more than 50 community fairs, educating more than 10,000 people about domestic violence and human trafficking;
- Hosted 7 annual conferences to train over 250 service providers from communities across the Central Valley on cultural competency and working with battered immigrant women; and
- Organized two conferences on human trafficking.
